The College of Policing held its annual Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action 2024 from 22-26th January.

The vital work that neighbourhood officers, police community support officers (PCSOs) and volunteers do to protect the public and keep people safe was highlighted throughout the week with lots of shared updates across social media platforms.

The WMC300FRs were out in the community attending events throughout the week with Northamptonshire, Avon and Somerset and Greater Manchester Police.

“The bike is a real asset to help with public engagement whether parked up at an event or out and about on my patrols. It has a very positive visual impact with the community. I would describe it as a “modern-day police horse” and it’s really easy to use. I feel more approachable compared to when using a police van or car.” – Chis Asante-Ampaduh, PSCO Northamptonshire Police

“It is good to see the motorcycles out in the community, helping to increase police visibility and encouraging engagement with members of the public. It was great to see the events and activities that took place over Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action, and to highlight the benefits of local community policing.” – Rob White, CEO and Founder, White Motorcycle Concepts
